UMUC prides itself on faculty committed to providing a quality education. Each year, the Stanley J. Drazek Teaching Excellence Awards honor outstanding faculty in the United States, Asia, and Europe who have been nominated by their students. Another faculty recognition award — the UMUC Teaching Recognition Award — is also currently given to other exceptional faculty in the United States by the School of Undergraduate Studies (SUS) and the Graduate School of Management and Technology (GSMT).
If you wish to nominate instructors who taught between September 2007 and August 2008 for these prestigious awards, please complete the form below or write a letter describing why this person merits the honor.
The deadline for nominating faculty members for this academic year's award is August 31, , although you may submit a nomination at any time. (Nominations received after this date will be held and those nominees will be considered in the next year's awards.)
